How to Download Members Only Videos

1. Download requirements

• The Java Runtime Environment, needed for JavaYTD (You probably have it already).
• The latest release of JavaYTD, a custom YouTube downloader program written in Java.
• The Getcookies.txt browser extension, or equivalent,

2. Export credentials as cookies

• Pin the Getcookies.txt extension to make the tasks below easier (If you are unsure of how to do that, use this guide: How to Pin Extensions).
• Go to www.youtube.com and sign in with your member account. After signing in, press the pinned cookie, then click export.
• Do the same with myaccount.google.com. Sign in with your member account and export the site's cookies.
• You should now have two text files in your downloads folder.

3. Run JavaYTD

• After the program has initialized, the first thing you must do is enable cookies by ticking the checkbox.
• The files you created in Step 2 will now be incorporated automatically, but once a cookie file has been generated, they will not be needed.
• Lastly, follow the instructions shown within the program for downloading videos.

Important Note: The generated cookies file will be valid for some time but may expire at some point. The program will then report that it cannot parse or download members-only videos. Simply re-export the cookies and regenerate the cookies file within JavaYTD.
