Getting Started

If you would like to contribute to the project, it will be a very good idea to start with the README to know more about us. Another important document that you should read is the Code of Conduct.

Installing

The first step is to make the project clone by GitHub (make sure you have git installed on your machine):

Open the terminal or git bash in the directory where you want to download the project. Use the git clone command or simple copy and paste the below command in terminal.

git clone https://github.com/JAIJANYANI/Automated-Resume-Screening-System.git

Contributing to the project

When contributing to this repository, please first discuss the change you wish to make via issue, email, or any other method with the owners of this repository before making a change. Please note we have a code of conduct, please follow it in all your interactions with the project.

Bug Reports

This project follows a pattern of issues. So if you find a bug, make sure it is not in one of our issues. Bugs should be tagged with a bug.

If the bug found is not in the Issues, just open a New Issue.

Feature Request

First, check that there is no Issue regarding this modification or addition.

If it does not exist, create a New Issue. Give a meaningful title to it, put a description and at least one label.

Changes must be submitted through Pull Requests. You can find more about this in the Pull Requests Template.

Pull Request (New Contributors/Members)

  1. Ensure any install or build dependencies are removed before the end of the layer when doing a build.
  2. Update the README.md with details of changes to the interface, this includes a new environment variables, exposed ports, useful file locations and container parameters.
  3. Increase the version numbers in any examples files and the README.md to the new version that this Pull Request would represent.
  4. You may merge the Pull Request in once you have the sign-off of two other developers, or if you do not have permission to do that, you may request the second reviewer to merge it for you.
