Changing attributes in the dev console for Hue lights

Hi there. I have a philips hue light (LCA009) and I would like to change the max and min color temperatures. I can find the correct attribute, but when I try to write a new value for it, I get this warning

Is there some other attribute I have to change first to make other attributes read/write?

The attribute in question is colorTempPhysicalMax under the LColorCtrl cluster.
