I'd like to try PodAura, but it requests permission to access the entire device storage without explaining why. AntennaPod, for example, works well (and can locally store episodes) without this permission.

The BitTorrent download function requires this permission. Just like other BitTorrent download applications

Since most bt libraries can't adapt to Android's Uri rules and can only use the File class to read and write files, this app can only request file permissions
