FAQ: Why so little OS Details?

Although this is always subject to change in the future, our experience in Application Compatibility says that you are pretty much guaranteed to be able to run the same app on Windows 7 through Windows 11 when repackaged the same way. Obviously, there are some caveats like:

• not running an MSIX package on Windows 7.
• Some MSIX features requiring Windows 11.

So, we encourage you assume OS version compatibility in general and note the exceptions.
