Black screen when clicking the edit button on any picture

I get a black screen after clicking edit button on any picture.

1. Open picture
2. Click edit
3. Picture never opens and I get a black screen.

• this happens with any picture I try to edit. I am using a Samsung a20 phone with android 11 and its fully updated. I degoogled it so it doesn't have playstore or Google framework.

I cleared cache and app data and the bug went away.

OK so I am getting a black screen with no editing buttons again.
