Thanks for the suggestion. Others have suggested this as well, and I am considering the possibility. You're right that it would make certain things easier, e.g. no shell or local Jupyter server required. However, there is quite a lot of work to be done to update each of the notebooks to be compatible. I'll keep this issue open and try to make a few notebooks compatible in the near future.
