I've noticed that this extension also removes highlight on google search results.
Is it possible to change highlights to bold or italic font with color? Otherwise you will need to ctrl+f every time to achieve the same purpose.
Not quite famalir with css, but please let me know if there's anything I can help, thanks!

Sorry, but do you have any example to reproduce this? The original google highlights are in bold, I didn't see the extension removed them. This extension is developed for using in e-ink screen which doesn't care colors. I see you mentioned color, what scenario do you use this extension?

Sorry for my late reply.

Um I didn't notice that the original google highlights should be in bold since it's not on my side. No clue why it's not, and seems like there's also no related chrome settings.
I'm using e-ink (Mira pro) + LCD dual screen setup, so adding colors is beneficial when switching to the LCD side.

ok, thanks for your feedback. I did some tests, it should be related to the google account settings. When I logout my account, I can see the red color highlights. I will make some research to see if I can keep the colors as more as possible.
