gabtag is not working at all #19
Comments
I have the same problem with fresh build on Mint 19.3. Here's output...
|
Hello, thanks for your feedback, I have made a recent update to switch to gnome runtime 3.38. It may have caused the issue, however gabtag work fine on my computer (fedora 33). Does the issue appeared after a update to gabtag ? |
don't know, just installed the app yesterday for the first time, and was not working... |
No update. I made a fresh flatpak build from this repo. |
Okay, Does the folder contains mp3 files or another music file format ? |
Only .flac files and a .jpg for me. |
ogg and mp3 for me, so i guess it's for everything... |
.flac and .ogg file aren't supported by gabtag, hence it is a normal behavior, actually as for now, only mp3 are supported by the application. The format supported by the application are not clearly stated so I guess I should replace 'open a folder' by 'open a folder containing mp3 files'. @legacychimera247 it is quite strange it does not work with mp3 files, it works fine with my build (as you can see on the video). Could you use the new video feature of github to show me the bug. gabtag.mp4 |
well unfortunately the app is not working at all, when i do select a folder, simply nothing happens and the list stays empty...
i would give you a terminal output but this seems to be the only thing
(com.github.lachhebo.Gabtag:2): Gtk-WARNING **: 00:44:48.917: Negative content width -8 (allocation 5, extents 6x7) while allocating gadget (node button, owner GtkButton)
i am on fedora 33 for the record...
