Split tunnel functionality

I have been eagerly awaiting Lavabit's email service and just discovered Lavabit's Proxy and am quite impressed by the VPN being free and not requiring an account or personal information to use which in normal circumstances would be a concern but due to the history and reputation of Lavabit it does not.

For it to be fit for my (and I'm sure others) purposes it would require the ability to split tunnel certain applications for local network access and the like. Is there any possibility of adding this functionality into the current application?
