Feature Request: Connect to container #61
Comments
Thanks!! Great that you like the tool :) I like very much the idea, but I still haven't figured out a good way to implement it. This request is very similar to #21, I would prefer to close this one in favor of the old one. |
@moncho sure, it thought #21 is more about executing a command in the container, but if you can solve this in the same run, sure go ahead and close :) EDIT: ah i see further down in the discussion you guys talk about this too, sry only read the first part of #21, but maybe just the login is simpler than execute and print output, idk 😆 |
I think at the end both requests want the very same thing, which is to start a shell in a running container, that is why I think that they are kind of duplicates. |
@nick-zh Hi Nick, here is a container-web-tty, hope that can help. |
@moncho Did this ever happen? |
I am sorry to say that I could not make it work in the end. Iirc, I was unable to solve some problems going back to the terminal after creating a shell in a container. |
Awesome work!
It would be great, if i select a container, if i could say connect to container (docker exec -it sh, that's the only thing missing for me
