What happend to GNUSocial & maybe add Mastodon?

In this older article there is actually a picture that showed this plugin working with GNUSocial:

But I don't remember that being ever available? Would be nice to have it included again though :)

Cool would be also Mastodon support via ActivityPub.

And while we're asking for new stuff... Any hope of getting an edition for Bluesky; they seem to be signing up user by the millions/day

Bluesky is merged and will be released soon :)
For Mastodon, the socialsharing feature will be included in the Mastodon integration in the next release (see nextcloud/integration_mastodon#80).
With other Fediverse software like GNUSocial, the problem is that there is not one link you can use as it is instance-dependent, we would include some concept to get (and maybe save) the instance info. This is not on the team roadmap right now, but we would be happy to get a PR for that!
