What? Apply the following guidance by cross-referencing funding and developer metrics to help define eligibility criteria for the GG23 Retro Round.

From Carl: Here are some crude metrics that feed into these objectives. Use these as a strawman and make them better!

Grow GMV

  • Lifetime crowdfunding amount
  • Lifetime direct grants amount
  • Average funding per main round

Support Quality Builders

  • Current active developers (last 6 months average)
  • Number of lifetime active developers
  • Stars from other developers in the Gitcoin community
  • Forks from other developers in the Gitcoin community

Onboard and retain a diverse donor base

  • Number of unique donors
  • Number of unique donors linked to a Farcaster or Lens handle
  • Number of donors who have supported this project in at least 3 rounds
  • Average number of other projects supported by projects' donors

Interim rankings here are based on Allo GMV, along with identifying OSO project IDs for Gitcoin grantees. The next step is to extend the data set with developer metrics and share the dashboard with ranking/filtering capabilities to iterate on final eligibility criteria.
