Inheritance relationships between Pods and Templates

Pods should support inheritance like in object oriented class definitions. This would help to avoid to define the (same) fields in different child pods. If you can create a parent pod which defines the common fields for each child pod.

The same feature would be very nice for templates as well. If you could define a template for a parent pod and the children. If you create an object of a child pod it will be displayed with the child template which is as a combination of the parent and child template. Perphaps you can define the position for displaying the parent.
