Thanks for putting together this great template

I hacked togeather an almost sticker footer via the bootstrap example

How can the padding and margins be handled in a way to make a static sticky footer possible?

The problem with sticky footers is the responsiveness, it has to be handled properly too :)
On my Nexus 4 this example has overlapping for instance. Did you try to make it work on phones in general?
