Click on any of the buttons on chaperone admin ui doesn't work #1
Comments
Thanks for sending in the issue. The document linked is too vague at the end and should get an update to say something along the lines of: Make sure you hit the admin-ui first (should display a red colored menu, not the blue as in your screen shot), go through the setup section until you get all green checkmarks, then run the install section. That is the final setup for the regular UI, and after doing this you should be able to use the non-admin ui to go through the prep, then the install sections without this error. I'm not seeing the same error, but will keep my eyes and this ticket open until I can verify in a new environment. |
Hi tompscanlan, Here are more details so that you could provide some pointers to debug this issue: I have deployed two virtual machines on ESXi 6.0. I followed all the steps as mentioned in the link mentioned in my earlier comment. I did not get any error in any of the step. Could you please give some pointers what I need to check further to debug the issue. Let me know if any specific information will help to move ahead. |
@luminostech1089 what do you get when you go to chaperone-ds-ip-address:8080 ? |
@jdatx , when i go to chaperone-ds-ip-address:8080 its launching the chaperone administration ui and as mentioned by 'tompscanlan' in his comment, the left pane is in red color. Click on button also works. |
I have configured chaperone CDS and DE by following the steps as mentioned here (https://github.com/vmware/chaperone/blob/master/docs/setup.md)
Set was successful. However, when chaperone ui or admin ui is launched, click on any button doesn't seem to work. When debugged, i found that there is an error in chaperone.js.
Please refer the attached screenshot for error.
