What version of
starlight
are you using?0.21.5
What is your idea?
We use "internal" links which then the webserver (CF in my case) redirect to the correct URLs
This is so we can have a single URL to share to everyone (eg https://example.com/s/discrord), and the real url changes at any point, we can just change the redirect.
Doing this has a side effect causing the SocialIcons to prefetch those "internal" URLs which then redirect to external ones.
Prefetch is supposed to prefetch only internal URLs, which some users might take it as "this site tries to 'hack' its way to call external urls".
Its mostly to provide some "sense" of "safety" to the end users and make sure no calls going externally when not really needed.
Why is this feature necessary?
Not really necessary, but a nice-to-have.
Do you have examples of this feature in other projects?
