Hello, I am Nikola.
I have quite mixed backround - I was born in Bratislava, Slovakia, lived in Belgrade Serbia, where I finished undergraduate and master studies at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, than I did my PhD in computer science at the University of Manchester in UK, and lived there for 6 years (including 2 post-docs, and teaching master courses on Information Security and Malware analysis and Reverse engineering at the University of Salford), and now I live in Berlin, Germany for last 5 years. I work at Bayer in Berlin, and I have affiliation with the Institute for Artificial Intelligence Research and Development of Serbia.
I used to be for years OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) leader for local chapters in Serbia and Manchester, as well as OWASP Seraphimdroid project.
I am quite passinate about open source and my focus is on natural language processing (NLP), machine learning and lately a bit more on generative AI.
My latest Open Source project is VerifAI, for which you can check Github at https://github.com/nikolamilosevic86/verifAI
