i use this to monitor my DC power infrastructure.
it's cheap and handles 30A,
but the measurement is imprecise and erratic,
with aggmode=AVG over aggtime=15 i get semi-useful data.

I'm not sure about this one. I like the idea, but not the aspect of supporting unreliable hardware (hindsight is 20/20).
That it might be a single use-case doesn't bother me. But it think we need a little bit of mentioning outside of code. Example vzlogger.conf would do it for me.
