Hi there! 🙋🏻‍♂️

🔧 You've caught me building a GitHub profile.

I'm Chris Burkart, a PhD economist and Data Scientist. I spend a lot of my time data wrangling and model-building but I enjoy both. As an applied econometrician, you might even call me a Data Science hipster--I was into Data Science before it was cool. Now I'm doing my best to keep abreast of the next fresh technology.

I have years of R code and useful personal R packages that I'm gradually cleaning up and pushing to github, as well as a couple of current projects that I'll start sharing, in both Python and R.
